Small Business Administration, North Florida District
Since its founding on July 30, 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses.
SBA provides assistance primarily through four programmatic functions:
- Access to Capital (Business Financing)
- Entrepreneurial Development (Education, Information, Technical Assistance & Training)
- Government Contracting (Federal Procurement)
- Advocacy (Voice for Small Business)
SBA offers a variety of programs to support the diverse needs of small business owners, including contracting, advocacy, and civil rights compliance, and SBA group education events provide a great opportunity for networking with other small business representatives.
SBA is committed to help Americans start, build and grow businesses. Each day, SBA, North Florida District representatives work collectively to advocate for small businesses, empower the spirit of entrepreneurship within our community, and deliver the results necessary to help America’s small businesses succeed.
