2009 has proven to be quite a good year all in all. In Review, there’s been a lot of learning and growth and a lot of opportunities and changes.

Highlights – 2009 In Review:

  • Content Management Systems for all:
They’ve come such a long way in the last couple years.  Now there aren’t many sites that I build that don’t use either Drupal or WordPress.
  • Social Media Integration:
Twitter, Digg, Facebook, YouTube have exploded and change a way a lot of people interact and market themselves. Although Web 2.0 has been around for awhile this year it went crazy.
  • JQuery vs Flash:
Javascript shorthand has made some really cool ways to have SEO friendly copy that can be interactive, animate and help improve a users experience.

What’s new for 2010:

  • Key Theory website will continue to develop and evolve,
  • Speaking events at The Art Institute of North Florida and FSJC.
  • New connections – new friends, new peers and associates,
  • New projects with more opportunities to learn and grow,
  • Expected continuing growth in popularity of Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube social media platforms.
